New Carle and Health Alliance Facility to Open in 2017

January 20, 2016

Carle and Health Alliance are pleased to announce a new building development, called Carle at The Fields, at the interchange of I-57 and Curtis Road in Champaign. It will consolidate various Carle and Health Alliance administrative and support functions in one location. This 300,000-square foot facility will improve operational efficiencies, result in better use of healthcare dollars, and help spur growth in our community. Carle at The Fields is scheduled to open in 2017.

“We’re excited about what we can accomplish when we bring our various teams together in one location,” said James C. Leonard, M.D., president and chief executive officer of The Carle Foundation. “This is a move that will help preserve resources in the long run and allow us to continue improving for patients and members.”

These Health Alliance offices will move to Carle at The Fields, along with 7 area Carle offices:

• Lincoln Square, Urbana
• Anthony Drive, Champaign
• Devonshire Drive, Champaign

The street address of the new building has not been determined yet, but we’ll share that and any other new information when we have it. To learn more, visit Carle.org/grow.

FFM Registration Completion Certificates Required

January 20, 2016

We require all brokers who intend to do business on the Individual or SHOP marketplaces to send us a copy of their Federally Facilitated Marketplace (FFM) Registration Completion Certificates. We are only allowed to pay commission on plans sold through the marketplace by FFM-certified brokers. If we do not have your certificate on file, we will not be able to pay commission on any public exchange plans sold.

Send your 2016 Registration Completion Certificates in PDF format to brokerservices@healthalliance.org. You do not need to send transcripts or each training confirmation page. We only need the certificate that says your registration for plan year 2016 has been completed.

If you have any questions, contact your client consultant.
