Illinois Brokers: Deadline is Approaching for 2016 Health Alliance Certification

All Illinois brokers Health Alliance has appointed for Individual and/or group sales and renewals must complete the 2016 Health Alliance Broker Certification courses by January 31, 2016.

These courses are available online.

Appointments will be terminated for any brokers who do not complete the 2016 Health Alliance Broker Certification courses by this date.

Note: This Illinois-specific training relates only to Health Alliance and not to the Federally Facilitated Marketplace (FFM) training through CMS.

FFM Registration Completion Certificates Required

We require all brokers who intend to do business on the Individual or SHOP marketplaces to send us a copy of their Federally Facilitated Marketplace (FFM) Registration Completion Certificates. We are only allowed to pay commission on plans sold through the marketplace by FFM-certified brokers. If we do not have your certificate on file, we will not be able to pay commission on any public exchange plans sold.

Please send your 2016 Registration Completion Certificates in PDF format to BrokerServices@healthalliance.org. You do not need to send transcripts or each training confirmation page. We only need the certificate that says your registration for plan year 2016 has been completed.
