2022 IL Transitional Rates (Correction)

Correction to our flash earlier today, 2022 Small Group and Individual transitional plans and rates have been approved by Illinois Department of Insurance (DOI).

You’ll receive an email notification that your transitional renewal portfolios for Fully Insured Small Groups with a January 1, 2022 effective date are ready to view via the Broker Portal.

After that, you’ll receive a Broker Flash letting you know that ACA alternative quotes for transitional plans are ready to view. You do not need to request these quotes. To process your Small Group’s transitional renewal(s) in a timely manner, please return a signed Exhibit C and a completed Exhibit B to us as soon as possible.

Transitional groups will auto-renew on their current plan. If the group moves to or adds an ACA plan once those rates are available, we’ll update and process this change after we receive the required documents.

We expect to receive Illinois Department of Insurance (DOI) approval for 2022 Small Group and Individual ACA plans and rates in late October.
