CMS Has Extended Individual Open Enrollment for 2020

CMS has extended Individual Open Enrollment for 2020 beginning at 3 pm EST today, December 16, 2019 until 3:00 AM EST December 18, 2019. This will accommodate consumers who attempted to enroll during the final hours of Open Enrollment, but may have experienced issues or delays.
 
Health Alliance and CMS share a goal of providing a seamless shopping experience to everyone who seeks coverage. This additional time will allow consumers to complete their enrollment for January 1, 2020 coverage. CMS’s statement can be found here regarding this important update.
