Preparing for 2020 Open Enrollment
November 1, 2019The 2020 Open Enrollment Period for individual coverage is here. You have from November 1 to December 15 to enroll members for a January 1, 2020, effective date.
For direct plans:
- Call 1-877-686-1168 for new sales
- Email applications, plan changes, and terminations to IndividualEnrollment@healthalliance.org
- Log in to Your Health Alliance for brokers for online enrollments
For Marketplace plans:
- Call 1-877-686-1168 for new sales
- Marketplace enrollments and termination requests must go through HealthCare.gov
For existing member renewals or questions:
- 2020 renewal materials mail November 1, 2019 and include broker names and phone numbers
- Log in to Your Health Alliance to view your individual Book of Business and access your clients’ renewal letters (with new plans and estimated premiums listed). The renewal letters won’t be posted by November 1 but should be up soon after that. We will send a broker flash when they are available.

Your Health Alliance for Brokers
Make sure you’re registered and ready to use Your Health Alliance for brokers for key features. You can:
- Check a member’s status through your Book of Business
- Allow 7 to 10 days once an application has been submitted for a member’s status to show as active
- Download and print or order certain important documents, like sales books, through the Forms & Resources
