08-17 – Medicare Broker Flash – Medicare Advantage Contracts Now Evergreen

We are pleased to share that effective Plan Year 2022 Medicare Advantage agency and agent contracts will be Evergreen. Evergreen contracts will eliminate the need for new contracts to be signed each year. This elimination is due to the contract rolling over automatically and indefinitely until you or Health Alliance™ provides notification that the contract is terminated. We encourage you to review the document before signing.

Please note you will still be required to submit your current license, Errors & Omissions certificate, and AHIP (or equivalent) certificate via the Broker Portal and take our product training annually.

In the years to follow PY2022, if applicable to your role, you will receive an updated commission schedule advising of the rates Health Alliance will be paying for that particular year. We continue to strive to improve your interactions with Health Alliance Medical Plans so that it is easier to work with us.
