Executive Leadership Updates

Health Alliance is excited to announce the addition of two key positions to the executive leadership team.

Andrew Weintraub has been named VP of Sales and Retention for our Illinois, Iowa, Indiana and Ohio markets. Andrew comes to us with extensive experience working within vertically integrated systems supporting sales, retention and business development. He has held executive leadership roles at Kaiser Permanente, Mercy Health Partners and Coventry. He most recently served as VP of Sales and Business Development for Health First Health Plans in Rockledge, Florida. Andrew has oversight for all sales and retention and product development activities at Health Alliance.

In addition, Jim Bendel will serve as VP of National Sales for partnerships under FirstCarolinaCare Insurance in North Carolina and our Washington State market. Jim brings a wealth of sales and leadership experience to Health Alliance. He has 20 years’ experience in the insurance industry, including leadership positions with a regional health plan and division president of a national brokerage regional office. And he started his insurance career as an account executive for a health plan, so he has a solid understanding of the sales side of the organization.
