Ventolin/ProAir Pharmacy Tier Change
May 14, 2019Effective May 1, 2019, Ventolin and ProAir have been moved from Tier 3 to Tier 2 on the Medicare formulary. The generic albuterol inhalers are Non-formulary.
The tier change for Ventolin and ProAir will be reflected in the June formulary and posted on HealthAllianceMedicare.org as soon as we can update it. Until then, the current formulary still shows these medications as covered on their higher tiers.
