We’ll Be Discontinuing Our Stand-Alone PDP Plan on December 31st, 2015

• Members will need to join a new plan in order to have prescription drug coverage. They need to join a new plan by December 31st to ensure a January 1st effective date.
• It is important for members to understand that if they don’t join another Medicare drug plan, they won’t have prescription drug coverage in 2016 and you may have to pay a late-enrollment penalty.
• The attached PDP discontinuation letter and list of alternate insurance providers by county are being sent to affected members.
• The loss of the Health Alliance PDP plan will not affect coverage in any of our other plans. This change will not affect members on our MAPD plans, Medicare Supplement plans or members on an employ- er group Stand-Alone PDP plan.
